HAIRAPYCAPES idea came from one of my favorite clients Margaret Brown. Margaret is 91 years young and she's one of those clients that I always look forward to seeing. Margaret has had a weekly hair appointment with me for about 10 years now. I noticed Margaret was always cold during her hair appointments even during the spring and summer months. I started bringing in a fleece blanket/throw from home and I would cover Margaret with this fleece throw before I put a salon cape on her so it would keep her warm during her 45-minute hair appointment. I noticed that Margaret was instantly more relaxed, comfortable, WARM, and in a better mood. Not long after that day with Margaret, I came up with the idea to sew some fleece inside of a salon cape and after several prototypes, HAIRAPYCAPES was created! I started using my HAIRAPYCAPES on all of my clients and it was an instant hit! Everyone loved it and like Margaret, clients seemed instantly more relaxed, calm, warm, and they loved the extra luxury during their color or cutting appointments.
